Danganronpa: Mystic Mayhem
epic_new_moon for Orochi Homura, The Ultimate Herpetologist.
As a child, he was happy, outgoing, and was always fun loving and a people person to the customers he met as he lived in a travelling circus. As he grow older, he began noticing he could communicate with reptiles and amphibians, however his connection seemed strongest with snakes, He was made into an attraction in the Circus as a "snake whisperer" and became a hit performer.
No one is sure what happened to Orochi during a period of his lifetime where he nearly dropped off the face of the earth, however to reemerge as a herpetologist quickly rising in the ranks for how well his work was in his field, soon earning his title of Ultimate. His personality however had become distant and cold, only showing much emotion whenever he was talking passionately about his work, or if he was spending time with his snake, Ladon.
After careful consideration, Orochi's voice is most similar to that of Snake#s English dub, from the anime Black Butler. A slightly lower/higher interpretation is also welcome, however his voice at it's highest is most likely mid range.
1. (calm/monotone-ish) “It appears that you and I were drawn together until we met in the middle, my companion and I are quite curious to get to know you, I guess. I am Orochi Homura...the Ultimate Herpetologist. And this is the light of my life; my best friend Ladon.”
2. (Irritated) “It isn’t like i’ll stick around any of you to even try killing. Don’t look at me like that. I am no murderer. Ladon and I would never do such a thing.”
3. (A little happy) “Herpetology has always been an interesting subject ever since I was exposed to it. Specifically, I prioritise the study and protection of snakes, so you *could* class me as a serpentologist if I wasn’t so good at everything else...O-oh uh...Would you enjoy hearing more about Ladon and I?”
4. (annoyed/then happy) “How dare you...Insulting Ladon in such a way by not bringing him a gift also?! Tsk...but...it is thoughtful. I’ll accept it. But next time, do *not* let me catch you insulting my friend by forgetting about him!”
5. (aggressive/annoyed) “Your lies are venomous!”

This is to show you acting as the character in an argumentative way. Orochi is monotone and fairly emotionless unless it’s about his talent or Ladon, his snake. In an argument, his tone doesn’t change much, but he gets defensive if he is being proven wrong, or someone outrights insults Ladon.)
