He's a bit of a mad scientist, though he would scoff at the idea of being called mad. He's hardly mad, just... ambitious. His philosophy is that knowledge is the most important asset in existence. It is the most powerful force for the good of the human race. And to get to it, we're gonna have to crack some eggs. Did I mention he's Xaruma's father?
In his day to day life, there is a sizable disconnect between his voice and demeanor and his true ruthlessly ambitious character. He's calm and mild-mannered most of the time, just your average father. But even he has his breaking point. Think somewhere along the lines of Gabriel Agreste with Scar lying beneath the surface instead of Hawkmoth.

What I do here- it's not... It's not my fault if being a little more than human unlocks the secrets of the universe. I will do what it takes for this project. What we are doing here is so big- bigger than anything humans have ever done or that they could potentially do. Imagine what we could find out if we could just reach out beyond our own solar system. Hell, we've barely even escaped this planet- but that could so easily change. All the knowledge in the universe- potentially even more than that could be at our fingertips if we crack this- If I crack this.
