Commander Bolton is a human female and is the XO (First Officer) of the USS Defender. Her personality will adapt based upon the voice that is cast to perform this role. Cast members will be allowed to have a large amount of input into the development of their character's backstories.

Personal Log Stardate 58291.98. We have been met by a friendly contingent of the Dominion who have wished us luck on our journey and are now set to begin our preliminary scans of the Rakahr System. We are due to be in orbit of the M-Class Planet Rhakar in just under an hour. It has been some time since contact with the planet has been made and we hope to be able to start forming some sort of diplomatic relationship since the planet is no longer subject to the oppression that was the old Dominion. We are hoping that Rakhar may be open to receiving federation citizens and to allow us to have our first planetary envoy in this sector.
The Gamma Quardant. An almost unexplored area of space. Since the end of the Dominion war and the return of the Founders to their home-world. No Federation vessel has entered this region. Relations have opened up between the founders and the Federation, and we will look to establishing a permanent presence here in the Gamma Quardrant. With the help of our Cardassian allies, the USS Defender will explore this new region of space, discover new planets and cultures and go, where no federation vessel has gone before...
