Ignis Stupeo Scientia is (or was) the royal advisor to Prince (King) Noctis Lucis Caelum. He is also a very talented cook. During the battle against Leviathan in Altissia, Ignis sacrificed himself in order to save Noctis by using the Ring of the Lucii, which granted him the power of the past Kings of Lucis, but ultimately cost him his sight. He has yet to tell anyone about what really happened. Over the years, Ignis has adapted to his missing sense, and has not only re-taught himself how to cook, but has regained his skills as a fighter.
Ignis has a medium toned voice and a British accent. He is often very serious, but has a dry sense of humor and can often be pretty funny. He is also fluent in sarcasm.

(Matter-of-factly, then solemn) Let’s be frank. My vision hasn’t improved, and it probably won’t. Yet in spite of this...I would remain with you all. Til the very end.
(Gladio: “...There’s more to it than just what he wants!”)
(Almost angry/frustrated, at first, but calms down when he addresses Noctis.) I know full well!! I won’t ask you to slow down! If I can’t keep up, I will bow out. Noct...you are king. One can not lead by standing still. A king pushes onward always, accepting the consequences and never looking back.
(Somewhat sadly, remembering) I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready to tell anyone what really happened in Altissia, but I can say this: if I was ever given the chance to go back and change the past, I would refuse. My actions cost me my sight...inaction would have cost the life of the King.
