Tomo-chan’s real name is NOT Tomo-chan, but you don’t actually get to know their name until later in the game, and at that time, he is no longer voiced. Tomo-chan is what the hero calls him after learning about the honorific ‘chan’ and the word ‘tomodachi’. It’s not meant to be correct, just a nickname.

Personality: Tomo-chan is innocent and kind, referring to the hero as an ‘angel’. He is incredibly impressed by her, especially when she jumps out the window half asleep.

Accent: Preferably North American. Japanese also acceptable from an actual Japanese speaker.
Description:Child, Male, Cute (We prefer a female playing him as a kid unless a male can pull off the voice we need.)

“Here, I brought this for you! It’s a plush that my mom and I made. It’s name is creature, and it’ll protect you forever and ever! Just hold on to it tightly and it’ll look after you!”

Hey there Zekkie! Thanks for your audition! We were pretty blown away from the first line- it was really well received. You had a great acting style and it was overall really well done. For the character, however, it seems to come off a bit too strong. The expression was amazing, but your sentence flow became a bit repetitive, so be sure to vary it well (this is a common problem stage and some professional VAs have I've found. It's completely common and it only ever becomes problematic in productions where realism is attempted) We're also avoiding a cartoonish expression for this character. Honestly you nailed that sound and it was brilliant, just not exactly for the vision of this particular character. Finally, the smallest issue was the background echo. I'd just be wary of that, but really not a big problem. Again, thank you so much for your audition ^-^ You're a great voice actor and it was a pleasure listening to you!
