Noctis’ friend. Prompto is the only one of Noctis’ retinue that did not grow up with him and, indeed, has no connection with the royal line. As such, he often questions his place among them, feeling as if he must prove himself in order to fit in. He hides deep-seated insecurity beneath countless smiles and boundless energy.
