Forced into slavery by her own sister on her home planet, Starfire should be a villain. But the torture and exploitation made her stronger, and she fought against her planet’s grasp and escaped to Earth. There she found people striving to be heroes, the greatest they can be, and Starfire felt she fit right in. Her powers, which everyone from her home planet has, are the ability to fly. Experiments done on her let her use ultraviolet radiation to create destructive rays/blasts. Starfire is very loyal, optimistic, and dislikes to see anyone treated the way she was on her home planet.
