Hazardoom for Marcois Jean-Jaquent, Baron of Vernot
The Baron of Vernot considers himself a scientist first and foremost and a ruler second. He has hunters bring him animals from all over the world to entertain and experiment on. He is naturally also a vampire, with all the violent tendencies that come with it.
"Our finest spend their months in the savage wilderness, stalking through the undergrowth. They wage war against nature. They die in droves, all in service to your pleasure."
"You rurals are always the same, always so sure of the shape of the world. Always so frightened of the idea of change. Do you have any idea as to how many of you I have seen? How many of you I have dealt with?"
"What I would like is to know more about that bow of yours. What a fascinating weapon. How do you use it? Where do your creatures come from?" [in the middle of a fight but still a scientist]
