Darling in the Franxxx - Abridged Parody
Patrick Mealey for Goro
In the original, Goro cares for his friends, and is always considerate towards others feelings. He’s the upbeat and easygoing friend-to-all. Goro values others over himself and is seen making sacrifices for the good of the team fairly often. He cares for Hiro’s feelings more than he cares for Hiro to continue being his friend. He’s a very kind guy, yet still capable of lashing out if someone doesn’t consider the people around them.
In the abridged, Goro is the voice of reason. Each member of the squad has a quirk or a fault which is quite obvious, and Goro’s fault is to point out the ridiculous nature of these attributes. He’s the relatable character within a bunch of difficult individuals. He cares deeply for his squadmates and tries to keep the team grounded. He’s also one of the most human characters in the cast; think older brother.
