Darling in the Franxxx - Abridged Parody
Arkham for Doc
In the original, Dr. Franxx is a calm genetics scientist, he invented the “Franxx” mechas and is oddly fond of Klaxosaurs. His scientific morals are questionable, yet he seems to be a genuine old man who cares for Squad 13. He is still a bit questionably aligned.
In the abridged, he is known as Doc. Doc is an incredibly kind and well-intentioned old man, who tries his best to account for everyone’s feelings. He loves what he does as a scientist, and loves creating. He however does not completely understand/care about social boundaries involving sexual ideas. He’s very honest, almost to a fault, considering his controversial sexual interests.
Vocal Qualities:
An elder male voice.
Jovial, optimistic, and kind.
His voice will be tuned in post, so higher quality audio would be preferred.
No definitive pitch requirements.
Line 1: “It’s all we’ve got, now please just eat it and stop complaining.” (kind scolding after a comment by Zero Two) “Leave him alone, he’s in no condition to deal with your tomfoolery.”
Context: Zero Two is whining about a lollipop and annoying her severely injured co-pilot.
Line 2: “Oh... well you should know that the youngster we’re supposed to be keeping an eye on... It seems she’s taken off.”
Context: He and Nana are supposed to be watching Zero Two, and she runs off.
Line 3: “Perfect synchronization! It’s here! That’s what I like to see! Now this is a real loli Gundam!”
Context: After Strelizia, Zero Two’s mecha, is shown being piloted, Doc fangirls over it.
