Darling in the Franxxx - Abridged Parody
Kipper for James
In the original, his name is Hachi, and he’s another caretaker that looks after the main squad of children. He is relatively cold and emotionless, following protocols and orders. He isn’t mean, but he’s also not necessarily nice.
In the abridged, his name is James. He’s a generally laid back guy, who tries to look serious when being watched by his superiors. He used to work for an evil organization, but has since quit that job, to now look after the children of Squad 13. His voice is normal most of the time, but he will sometimes break out into the voice of James from the Pokémon animated series.
Vocal Qualities:
An adult male voice.
Mid-high pitch.
Able to do a recognisable impression of James from Pokémon.
Line 1: (sings Halo theme) “So, wadja think of mah singing?”
Context: Please include singing the tune, it shouldn’t be too good, but it should at least be recognizable. Also please change up which tune you sing, the Halo theme is just an example. James is talking to Hiro who has been called in for an unknown reason.
Line 2: “Oh right, we got word from HQ. Turns out you’re getting shipped back to the orphanage.”
Context: He doesn’t care much for this news, but needs to tell Hiro, this was the reason he’s been called in. Please perform this line with a normal voice.
Line 3: “Welcome to the Ee-Ast compound, parasites!”
Context: The compound name is a mispronunciation of East. Please perform this line with the voice of James from Pokémon.
