The Father of Murder. Once an NCR Soldier, who killed his entire squad, then a radical NCR Terrorist responsible for bringing a lot of crime and derangement to the mojave frontier. Now, a man of peace, devoted to rectifying some of his mistakes by creating a safe haven where people with troubled pasts can all live together in this strange commune he invented to worship the old gods.

Based on the Kane fable from the bible, Kane serves as a "false prophet", so to speak, but that doesn't mean he really truly desires change.  He is theatrical with his dialogue, in order to captivate the audience that is his commune. Talks calmly.
