Beltran is the 21 yr old rifleman. He is insecure and a little scared.  He is really smart (yet stupid) and is made fun of by Cruz constantly. He listens to the squad lead religiously. He is the "kid" of the group despite not being the youngest. He is really far away from home in an extremely hostile environment and the radiation affects him psychologically.

Will be reading about 15 lines.  Can range from 2 words all the way to 10.

Audition Line Context

1.  You are being made fun of by the guy who always gives you shit for something. You are trying to validate the fact that you are scared by asking your squad leader. You are also kind of sad that 50,000 people's lives were ruined because of the disaster.

2. You and your squad just came across your first paranormal zombie. You are freaked out and your fear only grows. You had no idea anything like that would ever happen.

3.  You and your squad just survived a helicopter crash.  You insecurely ask your squad leader if the place you are going is the place full with hostiles.
