Soft, sweet voice with many pauses in between phrases so he can think. Medium range.
Ayumu is very skittish and overly polite. His worst nightmare is to have anyone dislike him, so he tries to stay neutral in any situation and cast aside his own opinions to appease others. He pauses during his sentences a lot, as he overthinks his words and desperately grasps for the perfectly formulated sentence that will cause no consequence. If there is a negative response of any kind, he will panic and try to change the topic immediately. He will never state anything as fact, opting for phrases like "I think" or "I was lead to believe". ("I think the sky is blue" "I was lead to believe that the sky is blue")
He is very passionate about the things he likes, but only in secret. (Closet weeb confirmed?) He has a lot of nervous habits. He used to bite his nails, but he has since replaced it with chewing on a stick. He wraps bandages on his hands so he can unravel them and put them back on whenever he's stressed. He loves fake fur because can pet it when he needs to calm down. Ayumu will never walk alone, and will never let anyone walk behind him.
1. Wha---aaa!! oh god, you scared me… oh… me? I’m Ayumu Kokubo. I'm good at snowboarding, I guess. Uhh. Would it be okay… um…. if you didn't walk behind me next time?
2. (panicked voice) W-what? You're telling me that one of us has to die? This seriously can't be happening… oh god…
