A normal High School boy who turns into a demon during the game.
He knows absolutely nothing at the beginning of the story, but begins to understand more as he journeys through 'The New World'.
Naoki is a determined, caring student. He can not stand back and watch the people he holds dear suffer. He is relatively naive but trusting, this is taken advantage of by Jyoji Hijiri to act as an errand boy.
Naoki is desperate to gain more information about the New World that he's been sucked into. He will not stop until he gets it.
"I don’t understand..."
[read it as though something someone has said makes no sense to you].
"What’s going on?"
[read it as though you have no idea what is going on around you. You are asking a person this question].
"Do you want to read it?"
[ Read it as though you're with your friends and they have asked to see a book you're holding. You can read this line as either 'calm' or somewhat 'witty'].
I sense some saltiness towards one of the bosses hehe...Anyway, this was a great audition. You delivered some of the lines well. Your voice fits decently at the first three takes but your aggressive takes doesn't quite fit at all however. If I were to add you to the cast, the only thing that would need work is your aggressive voice. Other than that, quality and everything else was fine! Don't forget to bookmark this project as I'll be adding more roles in case you'd like to audition for another role.
It's appreciated. Never heard the Drama CD, so wasn't sure what kind of tone to go for, since usually the Demi-Fiend is seen as his final 'I am a god, the Digital Devil Saga cast is a random encounter to me' form, or at least that's how I saw him, so wasn't quite sure how to play aggression on that.
