In the main game, Jin is a cold, heartless killer, attempting to wipe out the humans and their creator, the Architect. However, in this new story, Jin is presented as his past self, a soft spoken, brave warrior who fights with Addam, Mythra and the other heroes to stop Malos' rampage. It is shown through flashbacks that Jin does not like to fight, despite being one of the strongest members of Torna. Jin is usually a quiet character, only releasing his true emotions during climactic moments, primarily keeping things to himself.
