About: Yin’s older sister. Through wish fulfillment paired off with Charon’s trickery, Yin originally believes herself to be Yang initially in the game, thus as a result, you spend the first 2/3rds of the game playing as “Yang”. During these exploration parts, she’s frightened but level headed and a bit quiet, a reflection of Yin’s personality, however, during flashbacks, she’s charismatic and popular, not afraid to stand up for Yin, or dish out some sisterly teasing.
The truth of the matter however, is that Charon has been using Yin and the evidence she provides during trials as a way to trap her sister in the void, and Yin along with her. While Yang loves her younger sister, she still finds herself overwhelmed with the guilt of not having been able to protect Yin from bullies and the abuse of their mother, and, after having Charon manipulate the both of them, she wants nothing more than the sweet release of death.
- Has the largest amount of lines in the game. I don't have an exact number, but it's likely about half the lines in the game.
- Must participate in live recording sessions.
- Will have to also play a preteen version of Yang.
- Yelling/screaming is involved.
<As Yin, having just found out she was on trial for murder. Confused and scared.> Judgement? But I haven’t done anything! I can’t be sentenced to something I haven’t done, can I?
<As Yin, after being told to just give up on fighting the trial> I refuse. I can’t and I won’t accept this.
<Preteen Yang, after giving Yin a friendship necklace. Genuine, with a smile.> I'll always be there for you. I promise.
<Yang after being tortured by Charon. Begging Yin to kill her.> I can’t… I can’t take this anymore. It’s my fault. Please… I don’t want to become one of those monsters!
<When Yin is hesitant to kill Yang, becoming more desperate> I RUINED YOUR LIFE! SO DAMN IT. KILL ME!
