Xerxes is an older parrot who used to belong to a Barracadian pirate. Once a beautiful bird with red, green and blue feathers, he has unfortunately seen too many battles. Xerxes is afflicted with a nervous disorder that has cost him nearly all of his feathers. Xerxes is very plain spoken and a true sailor, always willing to spin a tall tale to an attentive audience. He lives with Professor Drakor Vintage at Tristar Academy.

“(angrily)Drakor, be ye daft? Merdin will have ye keel hauled if he catches one whiff of this! That little band of renegades is
nothing but trouble. Ye can see it in their eyes! Nay. Stand clear and let them blow by. I’d not be risking everything for a – (sniffs the air) What’s that? Rum? (excitedly) Is that rum I smell? Ah, ‘tis a fine lad ye are! Heave to and lower your anchor for a spell. We’ll have a fine talk and split the jug between us.”
