Percival is a small gray mouse, with overly large ears and a tail with the tip chopped off. Nearly a victim of one of the Tristar cook’s traps, he prefers to dwell with Professor Spaulding Ruskin, the librarian.  Percival alternates between spending his time resting inside a small wooden box on a high shelf out of the range of the cats or nestled inside the wavy gray hairs of the librarian. Everything that Spaulding reads, Percival also reads.  Over the years, the little mouse has developed quite a storehouse of knowledge.
