You took the 'vocal overraction' note in the desc to heart, and did it well. Very dynamic! I'm not a fan of your interpretation of the third line, though - it sounds a little too whiny. This isn't him trying to get out of it - it's him being completely flabbergasted by the suggestion. It's like "ok, so, how about you start breathing water?" It's so ridiculous, he can't even fathom the concept.
