T.O.M.B. (Previously known as "Hello, My Name is Death")
joystar for Antagonist
Say something you think would fit
Hit me with a Sinister Laugh. Try not to make it sound psychotic. You're the Mastermind behind the chaos, watching from the shadows.
He/She is watching from a far distance, seeing Death coming close to losing his mind. Exactly what he/she wants.
"(Laugh) Look at him, just ready to snap. Just let it out, Death. Release all of the demons that lies within your soul and let your dark side consume everything that stands in your way..."
Hey there. Thanks for auditioning! I can kinda see where you're going here, but I'm not fully sure yet. I would say to tap a bit more into the wicked side. I don't know if you've seen Incredibles 2 yet (and I'm not gonna spoil it either), but I'd say to maybe swing around there. The Antagonist's personality fits with this. I'll keep digging for examples, but I'd say maybe try that approach and see how that goes. 👍 Keep going.
Ooh, I can definitely give that a shot! (I did see Incredibles 2 and loved it, by the way!). I'll do it tomorrow once I warm up my voice more plus I'm more of a morning person and it's night here, ha ha. :) Thanks so much for the tip, I'll definitely take that into consideration in my reaudition!
(That movie was frickin' AWESOME.) No problem. I'm glad to help. Give it all!👍
Wanted to ask real quick before I submit my re-audition, can I add a bit of background score for the "Say something you think would fit" part as long as it's quiet enough, or is just my voice preferable? Thanks!
👍 Go for it. ☝️I would just ask you to please have the take with the bgm and without bgm posted so I can see where to go from here. ☺️ Who knows, I might ask you to hit up bgm for the series if you're up to it.
Alrighty, cool! I post one audition with the background music and one without it—also I didn't compose the music (though composing is something I've done a bit of), it's using one of Kevin MacLeod's free tracks from Incompetech. Also a clock chiming because, well, it'll make sense when you hear it in context. ;)
