Robert is a very polite, kind and helpful employee at the institute whose looks defy his manners. Robert also plays a "mysterious man" and while he is acting like a mysterious man, will use a deeper, darker voice. He is Cady's biological father and the antagonist of the story. Though he has this crazy Einstein-like look, he is very polite and treats people nicely. He has some agenda against Sheila.
