The Mythos: A Shooting Star!
germophobe for The Guard
A mysterious man who oozes dominance but with an equally short temper. The strongest authority, but with a childish temperament, the Guard exercises extreme prejudice when commanding and culling. He is not just a force to be feared, but admired as he narrowly avoids the path of cruelty.
(The Guard is being threatened, and is told he has until the count of four to state his business): Oh, I see; four seconds to justify my life. How many do you need?
(A pleading Jakob asks why he doesn't worry about being in danger, from spies and terrorists alike): Jesus; that's because I'm going to kill everyone here before that happens. It's simple.
(Urging Jakob closer, he tries to sound soothing): Come closer. Needn't be afraid; we're not savages.
Completely different than what I was expecting, but amazing nonetheless! I really enjoyed this more 'friendly' interpretation, which makes what he's saying even more sinister. Good job :D
Thank you! I always like trying to work in the more friendly kind of sinister. I'm glad you liked it!
No, thank you! Thank you for trying to put a twist on a character that could be voiced pretty opaquely. You've really made me change my view of him, and it takes a lot of skill to do that :)
Well I have to thank you again, then :P It always makes my day when I get a genuine compliment. Good luck with the project, HB!
No, than-- Eh, that's getting old quick. I'm James, by the way, the HB part is an alias. Good luck with your other projects as well!
