Alison is the mother of Cecilia and Alana. She is also the Aunt/foster parent of Riley. Alison had went onto a dark path and is still somewhat, on that dark path.  Celicia encourages her mother to seek help and Alison does indeed try to get help. Alison is also cunning and very manipulative towards her elder daughter Cecilia. At the age of sixteen Alison was introduced to drugs and became addicted to them. When she didn't have the money or had to owe the people that sold her the drugs they decided to put her into prostitution to make quick bucks. From this day forth, Alison is still part of prostitution and encourages Celicia to follow down that road she is in, for she does not wishes Cecilia to succeed in life.

Alison and Riley also do not see eye to eye with each other, despite Alison's "ways" of not being a good supportive role model to her kids, she is a concerning mother who worries about her children's safety, that could be shown in Riley's rebellious attitude towards her. Alison becomes best friends with Amiyah, not realizing that her best friend is a cop and the friend not knowing that Alison is a prostitute.
