Character Bio, Nia Kikuchi, (Nee-Yah Kee-Kutch-Chee)

Nia is a bubbly, friendly character who hates the killing game and its concept, and refuses to take any part in it, even when given motives, however, her friendly exterior hides her dark thoughts about her talent, often cursing the pain that it inflicts upon others, and wishing she did not have it so that those closest to her did not have to suffer. This often leads her to have less confidence in her abilities, and to want to spend less time with others.

Nia is one of the most optimistic figures in the group, choosing to believe that others within the group will not harm each other, and tries her best to get the group to work together in order to escape this killing game. However, she is not above speaking out against those who lie or overstep their boundaries, and shows a distaste for those who resorted to killing in order to escape the killing game.

Her Talent is unlike most other talents. Whilst other talents involve skill or prowess of ones abilities, hers primarily affects those around her. Her luck may cause a disastrous accident to happen that may injure others, but she will always walk away unscathed, making her appear to be lucky in contrast to those around her. She also seems to take luck away from those around her, becoming luckier as those around her fall prey to calamity.

Nia would be best portrayed with a medium to medium-high energetic, slightly tomboyish female voice. Noted for her optimism regardless of the circumstances, her regular tone should be peppy and cheerful. However, she is capable of experiencing and expressing a wide range of emotions, and requires an actress who understands how to emote. Furthermore, as the protagonist, she will have a lot of lines and is arguably the most important role, so please consider this responsibility before you audition!
