Reason for change:
I am revoicing this character because he's supposed to be one of the toughest characters in Fallout: New Vegas and he doesn't sound very imposing.

All of Scambler's lines are in his audition. When I picture Scrambler, I picture someone you don't want to mess with. Threatening, imposing, dangerous, a guy you don't want to fight with.

I've listened to this audition at least about 8 times...Probably the closest voice to Scrambler. I'm thinking this voice works but I'm also seeing that some of the written dialogue (the writers of Fallout: New Vegas) could make this character really shine. One issue is that your voice is very, very unique. Very distinct. Once someone hears that voice, that's pretty much him. I can't help but think that your voice fits for an authority figure, a battle-worn soldier, etc... characters with larger roles. Let me think about this. Voice definitely fits for Scrambler though.
I swear to you that I was so hesitant to even submit this audition for all of the reasons that you mentioned, along with what is becoming more and more obvious as I continue to submit for roles on CCC and other va sites (My voice seems to almost be a little too distinct). I was almost whispering some of Scramblers lines into my microphone at times trying not to sound like me. Catch you on another one sometime perhaps.
Oh no, I didn't want you think that. So in Fallout: New Vegas, there are some characters that sound so different compared to everyone else in the game. I'm just saying that I'm spinning the wheels in my head and seeing if I want you as Scrambler or maybe someone with more substance, ie Regis where your voice would fit as well.
I understood what you were saying completely. I’m very familiar with both the games and the voice actors that Bethesda uses.
