[CLOSED] Brave New World: The Final Chapter
Drunkle Qrow for Lorenzo
Character bio is here:
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Lorenzo
Would like him to sound intelligent, an engineer, a doctor, a scientist, perhaps. But I don't want him sounding like a stereotypical geek like the guy from Half-Life. There has to be a certain intelligence to his words. Shouldn't sound gruff or hardened or brutish. Should sound polished. A voice that could pass for a lawyer today. Articulate articulate articulate.
Age: 28 to 35. Sorry, Fallout doesn't have much teenager guys. They don't even have teenager 3D models in the game. So a lot of Persona voices don't fit here.
Tone: Medium to baratone. But shouldn't sound like a soldier. But shouldn't sound like a stereotypical geek geek. I don't know why people associate smart people with high-pitched voices.
Here's an example of something that sort of fits that.

He doesn't have a high-pitched voice but you can tell he's smart. I'm not looking for this exact voice but I just want people to give a voice of an engineer that doesn't sound whiney and high-pitched. Something that would befitting of an engineer in a technical company.
Uh... Hello? Hi. Are you there? Oh, right. You can't respond.{Pause}Listen, I'm using your robot as a relay to get this message to you.
(Excited) You're the one with that robot, I was hoping you'd bring him my way. Pretty impressive piece of hardware.
(Angry) {Initially outraged} What were you doing looking at my terminal?
(happy) (surprised) Good to see you! Alive, that is. Have you found all of the components yet?
(stoked) (happy) This is excellent news. I'll send him back to you soon
Too much background noise. Pitch is also too high.
May I ask what background noise? I removed any playback noise that I had heard, and thank you for the statement though on my pitch.
Is there any part you would like me to try for?
There's a lot of background noise. I don't know how else to explain it but it's definitely there.
