The main character and her love interest go on a "date" to a zoo/amusement park in the fourth episode. They make their way through a haunted house attraction despite the main character being utterly terrified of haunted houses (she, of course, does not want to let her love interest know this).

Near the end of the attraction, she loses track of her date and ends up in a room alone. The room has only a piano in the center that's rigged to move along with some cheezy paintings of old composers decorating the walls. She throws herself against the wall as the piano comes at her only for a holographic projection resembling the ghost face of the subject of the painting behind her to drift out of the painting and utter a pair of depressing lines. (It is possible that the "ghost" is only in her imagination as well - it isn't entirely clear).

Voice must sound distinctly adult. Beyond that, age (young vs. middle aged) isn't that important. This performance should be mildly hammy, since it is a recording for a gimmicky haunted house. A European accent, particularly a German one, would make for good flair as well, but that is not necessary.

  • (Dark laughter) Everything... everything that once was is now lost.
    For that is death...

I aimed for a more cheesy ghost voice, rather than scary. We'll see how it goes.

I rather like your take on it! Didn't think of it that way before. I think a combination of cheesy and scary would be the ultimate combination for this scene. It is supposed to cause the main character to pass out, so creepy enough for a wimpy tweenage girl, but cheesy enough to solidify the comedic effect.
