Benson is pretty timid. He joins the rebels out of fear that Fiana is going to find his secret hiding place and put him to work with the rest of the Nature Nex. As soon as Fiana announces that she's the new ruler and that she'll be having each of the people doing specific rules based on their nex, he sneaks away and finds somewhere to build a hiding place. He was able to easily build it because he studied architecture in school and was a young prodigy. He has a quiet (he doesn't whisper) and soft voice.
"Who... Who are you guys? And how did you find me here?"
"I ran... I was scared. I've always been scared and that's kept me from having many friends. That's why I'm glad you guys found me, for the first time in my life I have real friends. And I finally don't feel so scared anymore."
"I promised you guys that I won't punk out when the final battle came, and i intend to keep that promise."
