[CLOSED] Brave New World: The Final Chapter
mouthalmightyvo for Orris (a bodyguard)
Reason for change:
I am revoicing this character because he's a relatively minor character but he's voiced by Liam O'Brian. Liam actually did a fantastic job with many of the characters in Fallout: New Vegas but I'm trying to revoice all of the smaller roles done by him which are spread throughout all of Fallout: New Vegas to add to immersion.

Information about Orris is here:

I'd like him to sound like a mercenary, a gang leader, a bodyguard. Even though he is a fraud in the game, he has to sound like people believe that he is a bodyguard. So naturally he should sound tough and ruthless.
If you need to cross Freeside, no one will keep you safer than I will.
(angry) So tell me, did you really think I'd be stupid enough to fall for this again? One of my men saw you go in and out of the Kings' place
Two hundred caps gets you my watchful eye for a trip to the south gate.
Hey, you want the best, you have to pay for it.
To your left here is the Old Mormon Fort. You get roughed up, the Followers there will patch you right up. Not that I ever need their services
This is actually very close to what I'm looking for. Minor quibble but I thought I'd ask. My only issue is that the voice sounds more like a professional radio announcer, sort of like that Shure SM7B factor, where it's boomy and sounds like a professional radio host. Hard to explain. But I'm looking more for a voice that sounds like a guy is standing in front of me. Not sure if that makes sense..but could you do another audition with sort of a more standard voice effect but with the same sort of personality you've provided? Not sure if my question makes sense. It's the difference between hearing a high-production DJ on the radio ..that effect..which sounds professional...but doesn't quite sound like a person directly in front of me. Maybe it's a condenser vs dynamic mic sort of thing but I can't explain it. lmk.
Yeah I noticed that on playback on the CCC site but I had everything set to my normal vo settings ...I maybe tweaked something when I rendered it seemed a bit peaked and honky high low mid...I still have the track ...if I get a min chk it and maybe retake
Ok, nice! I'm glad you know what I was asking about. I wasn't sure how to explain it. :P
I'm reloading it ...Ive never gotten that hollow effect before...very odd
