Floyd, is a very monotone character. anger and fear are the only other emotions prominent in this character. He is a junior in highschool. He seems very tortured, because his mind is always uneasy due to seeing a slew of monstrous figures no one else can see.
Floydant, is has all the same issues. later in the story he does become heroic but his true goal is to learn to love himself
