Austen is a college student, hard working but also quiet. She can be blunt and sometimes she can be sensitive and has a hard time accepting compliments. She seems to have low self-esteem, and when stressed she tends to lash out on people regardless of who it is. She is present throughout the entire story.
Actually, they can help...sometimes. You know that anti-cancer mod that came out last year? The one everyone was advised to use? I had to get it at the hospital, they gave me drugs to suppress my immune system..and a few days later they applied the mod. I had to stay in the hospital for MONTHS, Just in case there were any side effects...It was so frustrating.
(Sadly, sniffling and crying slightly) I can't... I can't use mods. I'll always have hayfever during the spring, and freckles during the summer, and the same stupid eyes and the same stupid skin. I'll always be boring, and ordinary, and human. I...I don't know why I'm crying. I'm being stupid. I'm going to go wash my face.
