Brett Graves is a dragon with shadow powers, allowing him to phase through objects. He acts as the vice-captain of the police force and views his captain,  Neil, with great trust and respect. Coming from a past of abuse by humans, Brett holds strong resentment towards them, particularly lashing out at Theobald. However he is incredibly kind to Efi, due to his love for children and other dragons, and dotes on her constantly.

  • (to Theo) I don’t suppose you’re the culprit in this case? And that child there, isn’t she a dragon?! First fraud, now kidnapping? Where does it end with you?!

  • (hm?) …

    (to Efi, sweetly) Oh, it's you. Been a while. And morning.

  • Until we’re certain we’re facing a criminal, the Captain says not to lay a finger on them… I can’t fathom why. Just slice them up and be done with it.
