The deceased father of Keith and Rachel Rigfire. In accordance to a rule passed down by vampires, he was tasked to kill any vampire child that has too much violent vampire blood in them. However, he could not bring himself to kill his own child.

  • (to his children) Vampires… did exist. But not anymore. And if they were bad… I wouldn’t know. In fact, I even doubt this vampire attacked their victim willingly…

  • (his journal) Their powers have not awakened, but it can’t be long until then. But… I couldn’t lay a hand on a child of mine. My wife, too, perished upon birthing the second child. So… I don’t want to lose any more.
