Payment will be sent once your audition is chosen. Please have a Paypal account. I'm looking for someone who sounds like a rogue or a thief. He needs to sound intelligent, cunning, crafty and manipulative. I've included a video attached to this project that shows the previous voice-actor and how he reprises the role of Garrett. I'm looking for someone who can do the voice of Garrett but you don't have to sound exactly like him. What's more important to me is that you are able to consistently hold the voice. So I'm not looking for an impersonator but rather someone who "gets" the personality that I'm looking for.
Important: You do not have to sound like Garrett (Stephen Russell). Rather, I want you to get a feel for the way he speaks, his personality...What's more important is that you sound cunning, manipulative...something more akin to a rogue or a thief.
Accent: North American.
Age: Anywhere from 30 to 45
Tone: Medium, Medium Low (Baritone)

Sounds like you're whispering loudly.....which isn't what this character is. Also the mic quality is not at the standards I"m looking for. It sounds like you're talking in a street. Also in your auditions, I can hear your chair moving back and forth, your audio is burning out above the DB, adding to distortion.
Hi. Thank you for your feedback. The master level from my Audio DAW is at good levels. What you may be hearing is my computer fan that is close by giving the hiss sound. My mic is a Studio Condenser mic but the fan noise may be the cause of your assumption. I've sent audition clips before and casting directors never cared about background noise (i.e. chair sound etc.) but more on performance. I was hoping the focus would be on the performance and nothing else but of course if the standards are not met by you I understand. I read your requests for the audition for Garrett's character and worked on a creative perspective for the role. Wishing you best of luck. Cheers!
