Pronounced Roo-mee-koh nah-gah-mee-neh

Rumiko tires to act tough but really shes a big sweetheart, who shows her soft side around the animals she treats. She adores them with all her heart, and wants to make a difference to their lives. She wants to be independent and responsible but finds it hard not to rely on others. She wants to change herself, and is a very hard worker. Rumiko's family owned lots of cats, and as a child she strongly believed animals were better than her strict parents who seemed only to care about her grades. One of the cats was hit by a car when she was 7 years old, and it died before they could get a vet to come to their house. Rumiko had felt so helpless and upset that one of her only friends had died that she decided to become a vet herself - at first only for her own cats but soon her love of animals extended to every creature she saw.

Her ideal voice would be on the deeper side of mid range, and rather sharp. The closest DR voice I could compare it with would be Peko.

  • I'm Rumiko Nagamine. Don't give me that look, I'm a SHSL Student just like you, the SHSL Veterinarian to be precise.

  • How are we supposed to trust each other if we know there's a... a killer! Lurking among us!

  • Stop talking down to me! I can prove what you're saying is incorrect!

Hi! Thanks for auditioning, i'll give you all i have to say for all of your auditions in this comment so i don't spam you aha! So, i really liked how you used different voices for each of the characters, Kagura and Yurina especially fitted their personalities. Something i'd advise for the future is to be more expressive with your pitch - you tend to keep the same tone throughout and it makes everything much more interesting if you fluctuate your pitch to spice things up a bit. I hope this was helpful ^.^

Hi there! Thank you so much for your feedback! Ahh yeah I really need to convey emotions more and pitch changes in the dialogue would definitely help. I think I was trying too hard to make the voices stay different haha ;; But really that's really great advice thank you! I will try and practice more on that and perhaps record another audition if I have time before the deadline!
