Bio: The Chief Editor of the Daily Bugle who became notorious for writing editorials against costumed super-heroes particularly Spider-Man (in which the reasons why over the years tend to vary in logic & sympathy). J.J first became famous for writing editorials against Spider-Man to get the people of New York to hate him and running Spider-Man’s showbiz career instantly. However during his debut J.J was against Spider-Man for being a showboat that could be a bad influence to children, but he insists that people should be paying more attention to his beloved son John Jameson the astronaut. But while J.J.J is not a villain (well usually not) he has a strong desire to antagonize Spider-Man to often irrational levels and is not known for his sense of gratitude either.
(Leading an Angry Chant)
FREAK! PUBLIC MENACE!
(Eager &
Oppurtunistic) When I’m thru with this article, Spider-Man will be run out
of town!(Making a Grand Speech) We
cannot allow that masked menace to take the law into his own hands! He is
a bad influence on our youngsters! Children may try to imitate his
fantastic feats! Think what would happen if they make a hero out of this
law-less, inhuman monster! We must not permit it! I say that Spider-Man
must be out-lawed! There is no place for such a dangerous creature in our
fair city!
(Full of Pride but still
an Angry Speech) The youth of this nation must learn to respect real
heroes – men such as my son, John Jameson, the test pilot! Not selfish
freaks such as Spider-Man – a masked menace who refuses to even let us
know his true identity!(Warm & Fatherly) This
is it, John! Make your country proud of you, son – as proud as I, your
father, am today!
(Happy & Relieved) My
boy! He’s safe!
