While Monokuma is mechanical, he should sound perfectly organic. Actor should be comfortable with doing comical impressions of the cast. They should be able to gauge humor, deliver jokes, and laugh at the drop of a hat.

Monokuma is the ultimate symbol of despair. The bear is often described as easygoing and cheerful at first glance, but with sinister undertones. However, he always rather quickly reveals his evil nature by describing killing games and his desire for despair, and he is very well known for his habit to say and do whatever he wants to. He loves despair, violence, and chaos. He basically thrives off it!
