Extras are important for every production.  This is for all those minor roles that only appear once or twice. I'm looking for a whole range of voices. Feel free to submit four or five takes of each line.  I'm looking for variety.

  • [Child] Hey! What's up? Do you want to play some soccer?

  • [Teen] The red uniform or the white uniform? Ugh. Who cares? I have to get going.

  • [Adult] Hello? Is everything alright over there? Is anyone hurt?

      I won't claim to ever be an expert on it, but my only idea is to try mimicking characters you've heard before, and use that as a springboard to explore new pathways voices. Try it in different pitches, speeds, and even textures. One of my favorite pieces of advice I've learned is that, if you try but can't nail a certain character voice (i.e. Spongebob), there's a chance you might be able to still use that attempt as a *different* character voice of your own! Experiment -- "take chances, make mistakes!"
