Rider is the leader of the Yellow-Green team in the Coro Coro cup. He is rank S+ and is a very popular Inkling. He believes he can win anything by himself and without team mates. Though he needs them to participate in competitions.

After his first loss against the Blue team, he becomes friends with them and trains against them. Also getting pulled into the Octarian resistance.

He has multiple weapons through out the series.
