Justin Mittlestadt for Harvey
Harvey, the rabbit-esque ghost Nicole and Kade encountered when moving into the Doo Estate. I intend on voicing him, but I want to hear your takes on this character! Who knows? I might just cast you for him instead...!
[A few pages in after Harvey's introduction. He is wielding a Nintendo Zapper.] "I will cast your ducks into an eternal darkness of which there is no escape."
[Nicole is asking what Harvey is.] "I am the harbinger of death! The end to time!"[Nicole is still confused, and is now asking for a name.] "Harvey will do."[Nicole snatches the power glove, that of which Harvey was stretching, away from him.] "Hey! Very well! I will utilize the advantage controller! You have sealed your own fate!"[A few games later, Nicole, while playing a game with Harvey, asks why Kade can't see him.] *speaking casually* "I believe his mental fortitude is so lacking that his mind filters me out."[Nicole then explains Kade's bad history with horror games.] "Games like that put too much stress on your heart."[Nicole asks if he has a heart confusedly.] "It's more like a furnace for lost souls, but it provides the same function."
[Lightning clashes as they play their game, and spooks Nicole. Harvey looks at her grumpily; she asks what the look is for.] "You did that so you'd have an excuse for losing to me."[Nicole explains her definite fear of lightning, and how she'd never lose to a bunny like him.] *menacingly* "YOU DARE MOCK AN ELDER GOD?!"[Nicole continues to mock him, bringing up how he couldn't handle Doctor Mario on high speed.] *nervously* "The pills fall so fast."
Heh, I'm glad to hear that you'd be honored. Now, then, I'm afraid I can't exactly explain how I want you to improve, but I do encourage you to try out for other characters! Although they aren't on the list yet, feel free to tell me any character in the series that you're interested in (except Kade, sorry). I did like your take, though! Very nice, but I think you can use a variant of that voice for something else. ^^
Well, if a variant can be used for another character then I'd love to hear which ones, honestly. Perhaps we can talk a bit more in detail? And thanks for the compliment on the take! I tried to give him a little spin with still keeping it "Harbinger of bullshit and death."
Right ^^ Well, there's a heavy reference character that appears for a few pages who's supposed to be Phoenix Wright. Think you can pull it off? If not, that's fine. There are also many others you could try, like the Mordecai and Rigby (from Regular Show) reference characters that appear briefly! Ooh, there's also Rick. Think you can pull him off? Honestly, I want you to try out for any character you can!
Of course, I think I can mimic just about any voice if I have enough time and practice learning their mannerisms. Phoenix Wright I've tried before and Mordecai and Rigby would take a bit of work, but Rick I can do without a doubt.
Awesome! I'd like to hear your take at Rick! (Along with Rick's Rick voice as he wears his Rick costume from Rick and Morty (That's a lot of Rick's o.o)) That said, if you could provide me the pages to those lines, that'd be great. Or if you don't want to pick them, I can, too.
