Malcolm Lie- 16- male
Has light brown skin, red hair (He dyed it, it was originally dark brown), his eye color is an orangey brown color, so like a really light brown. He normally wears black basketball shorts and an orange T-shirt.
He is Kei’s best friend, out of the friend group they had Kei usually hanged out with Malcolm. He is also Alex’s older brother. He wants to protect what is left of his family knowing that Dead-X has a close eye on them. He was “killed” by Dead-X but saved by Magnus Thun.
He’s the type to crack a joke at random moments but knows that sometimes you have to be serious, but it’s rare he is.

He has a medium-high voice (This doesn't mean before puberty, it means after. Go away, young children)
I'm saying this because people keep protraining Malcolm as a flat toned guy with no energy. Malcolm is very energetic, he says jokes at very random moments and is often a source of comic relief. He can show emotion though, in the third line he is talking about a hard time in his past, his voice should be cracking a bit. Even when it is narrating I still want the characters to tell to story not say it, put emotion. Other then Emotional parts I need him to be energetic and happy like in the first two lines, in the second one still put some dread by keep his voice energetic.
(This is pure comic relief, it's supposed to be a joke. Yes I know it's cringy, that's the point)

Why me? Zoey is going to hate this idea. I really don’t want to be the one yelled at. I know where to find her, the library, she likes to read or watch TV in there. It’s the only place with a TV here. I head straight to the library and find her watching Zarry Otter and the Deadly Tree.

Dead-X didn’t know my parents had kids until that day. The person who had shot Alex was the only one who knew we were here. I had never hurt a living soul before that day. My little 11-year-old brain thought if this person died then no one else would know we were here. He was obviously weak, using a regular gun. I used my skill, hand to hand combat. It was quick, a blur and the first time I had blood on my hands. He was dead in seconds.
All of the energy fell out of your voice. Malcolm is very energetic, only in the last line can you suck the nergetic and sound duel and sad, sorry
Haha thanks for the reply, though I think it was a bit difficult to realize that from the description (may want to make it a tad more obvious for future auditioners).
Ok... I keep getting that so I will change it but the description does say he's the type to crack jokes and I don't think people who would say jokes would have a unenergetic voice.
Dry sense of humor? Yeah you should say something along the lines of "Malcom is a happy and energetic guy who loves to make jokes". Me I just thought it was the punchline that makes it funny, not the delivery. Starting to get the point?
