Your volume seems to drop a little during the line "some species of lizard." It's not too distracting or anything, but you might want to look into it. (Probably just moved a bit from the mic, or maybe your DAW normalized it in a weird way?) I think you have a good sense of rhythm, but feel free to relax and slow down the read. Overall, you did good. I could sense that he's a bit worn, just like the direction asked for. And that's pretty much all the feedback I can provide (take it with a grain of salt, as I'm still learning too).
