Pearl tends to be a little bratty but very sensitive when she called a gremlin which leads her to become very upset and unpredictable.
Pearl will become a main character in later episodes but she won't be until the start of season 3 but appears in a special at the end of season 2 along with Marina appearing in a episode following that one.
