Unbeknownst to Augustine, Julius was still alive, but had to fight his way towards the mortal realm while fending off a relentless pack of demons set on his destruction. The wary fighter proved victorious in the end, as he escaped with his life. To everyone's shock, Julius rejoined the team, but made a pact to never tell Augustine his true nature.
