Merdin:


    The most powerful wizard in the entire world of Mystar, and the second oldest living being. Merdin has a knowledge of magic, life, and love that far surpasses everyone around him. His only equal, if there was one, is Gwendolyn. Not much is known of Merdin's true origin. Some say he is a Seraphim, born into a human body. Others say he is an eternal spirit of Mystar itself. His journey is truly legendary, being present at almost every major event in the world's history.

    Merdin loves to travel, and is almost never in his tower in Tristar Academy. But, when he sees a potential pupil he is always eager to return and train them. Merdin is a funny old man, and loves to make people laugh. There is no greater reward for him , then to see a smile on someone's face. That said, he can also be equally serious and intimidating. His power is beyond imagination, practically inventing every spell in the book. 

    Merdin foresaw Nicholas and Emily well before their arrival. He knew that there would be many dangers ahead of them, and saw too it to put things in motion so that there would be help, just when they needed it the most. Merdin knows Nicholas's destiny, and believes in him whole heartedly. He also is very fond of each of the girls in his harem, and values them equally. 

    Merdin is going to be a lot of fun for the right guy. He must have an older, unique timbre to him. Think of the original Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter, and you'll be getting pretty close.  We don't really have an accent in mind for him, but we have a feeling you might want to try a British or Scottish accent. 

  • (Amused) "What's wrong with you boy? You look as if you've seen a ghost. (confused) Eh? Merlin eh? Hmm. Can't say that I've heard of him. Although, I do recall traveling to a place called England. But, that was ages ago."

  • (Serious) "The situation is far more dangerous than it appears. To the west lies a great army of demonites, a truly unstoppable force. To our southeast is an army of the undead, led by a necromancer named Lennix. (confused) Is something the matter? This is not the time for jokes my boy."

  • (Relieved) "Zeus, my old friend. It is good to see you. (Agreeing) The situation could not be more dire my friend, you are good omen for this fight. (Pushing Nicholas towards him) This, is the chosen one, Nicholas Reinhardt of Earth.

Thank you for auditioning Arlen :D We love your low mature voice. It adds a genuine feel to the character. However, during the second line his intensity and focus didn't change enough to reflect the imminent danger that lies before them. If you could add a bit more energy and focus to that second line then that would be awesome! ^_^

    Thanks. Regrettably, I may have to withdraw from this project as I have just been cast on other projects which I been working on earlier that need to be completed urgently.
