Origins unknown until later in the series. Had a one night stand with Jude's mom and that is how he got Jude. He has 4 possible children out in the world and has had 2 court cases denying 2 others of not being his kid (which was true). He is rich.
Make his voice your own as long as he has a deep voice.
Although he is a minor character in the beginning he ends up being a main one later on for 2 seasons and then becomes a supporting one after that.
