Penny is amiable, excitable, kind and curious. She shows a distinct lack of social awareness, likely due to not having a lot of experience with human nature. When Ruby made an unconditional offer of friendship, Penny seemed both immensely pleased and somewhat surprised. Another small quirk is that Penny hiccuped whenever she told a lie.

Hello, this is my Penny audition retake. :) I added more emotion, although I took multiple takes of certain lines when unsure of the exact mood (flustered/shy). I am always open to criticism.^^ Thank you!
(I'm SO sorry for the length, trying to trim it down so it's not stupidly long.) The voice still remains pretty spot-on and I believe lines 1 n' 2 are good since they share her friendliness, but there is a sort of quirk I've noticed with her which relates to the third line. That being simply: She seems to have some lack of social awareness. By that I mean, she could say lines like that with a straight face and not realise how awkward it is for David. I'm not sure where the line ends though, since I think in JPDE that she does get flustered when Evelyn talks about David in 'that' way (haven't played in a long while, so I'm not certain). Soo what I'm trying to say is, I think for that sort of mood, there's a certain level of "Oh I didn't know this was awkward to say out loud" and being flustered/shy after people react with a "OH MY GOD WHY DID YOU SAY THOSE WORDS OUT LOUD". Anyway, best o' luck to you.

I confess I haven't played JDPE, so I wasn't sure how to deliver it ^^ My original interpretation was more along the lines of "I like you" + "...eh?" + "Why are you so surprised? I always called you cute and pretty" + "W-well, c-cute and pretty don't...necessarily..imply sexual attraction..." LOL but I think your explanation makes a lot more sense! Thank you for the well wishes :)
