Art von Delay is a private investigator, and a regular customer at VA-11 Hall-A. He initially comes to the bar working a case, but eventually becomes a regular. Art has delusions of grandeur and tries to appear cool, often trying to mimic lines of detective thrillers and noir films. However, he takes his line of work seriously and is diligent and logical. His namesake and appearance are a reference to the character George Costanza from Seinfeld.
