Mariko, a third year, is approaching the end of high school. She isn't reserved, though doesn't show more of herself than necessary, much to the complaint of her love, Chiyo (Venus). She's a bit protective when it comes to her, though doesn't show it around others to a brilliant extent, most often finding the best place to be at her side. She practices calligraphy, and has been doing so for the past half of her life, often drawing and thumbing through different patterns to see if she could recreate them, just for the fun of it. Her grades are decent, though not high marks, merely an average, which bothers her quite little. She's often nicknamed Riri by Chiyo, and though she isn't loving the idea, she doesn't say much otherwise.
